WILD HORSE BOOT CAMP - SPECIAL GROUND UNIT

Next date to be announced

FEATURING JERRY TINDELL

Thank you for your interest in our Special Ground Unit Boot Camp, a clinic for wild horse adopters who have successfully gentled their wild horse, or who have previously attended one of our gentling workshops. Ground Unit Boot Camp will be held for 2 days (date to be announced) from 9am-4pm. The location of this workshop is the Lifesavers Wild Horse Rescue Ranch, 23809 E. Avenue J, Lancaster, California 93535.

The objective of our Special Ground Unit boot camp is to introduce ground school techniques that will prepare your horse for interacting safely and respectfully with humans in the domestic world. This will be a hands on educational forum instructed by Jerry Tindell. In order to participate (hands on) in this workshop you must register in advance and pay the full registration fee. Click here to download the registration form

See registration fees below.

Registrations must be received no later than 2 weeks prior to clinic date. Participation spaces are limited and may close much earlier than the deadline.

Registered participants will be involved in hands-on instruction by Jerry Tindell.

You are encouraged to bring your own gentled mustang, but are not required to. Lifesavers will provide you with a horse to use if you cannot bring your own.

You may bring your own horse if it can be approached, haltered and led.

You must be interested in learning new techniques and training methods.

You must give permission to the attending clinicians to handle your horse in order to demonstrate these techniques and methods.

You must be willing to continue what you've learned after you take your horse back home.

You must have medical insurance, and sign an insurance liability waiver in order to work with any horse(s) at the Lifesavers Ranch.

Participants should fill out the Registration Form and mail it to Lifesavers Wild Horse Rescue with the registration fee of:

$275.00 for Participants not bringing a horse (includes both days, meals, bunk or barn room & commerative dog tags)

$300.00 for Participants bringing a horse (includes both days, meals, bunk or barn room, horse stall, & commerative dog tags)

$100.00 for Spectator Sleep-overs (includes both days, meals, bunk or barn room & commerative dog tags)

$25.00 per day for Spectators No Sleep-over (includes one lunch meal)

We need to know about you (and your wild horse if you are interested in bringing it), so please be specific when filling out the registration form. You may be contacted by a Workshop representative for more details prior to the workshop.

If the limited Participation space is full by the time you submit your registration, your check and registration form will be returned to you.

Participants and Spectators are welcome to stay at the ranch. We have limited space in our bunk rooms and barn. Space will be reserved on first registered basis. You are also welcome to bring a camper or RV. We do not have RV hookups, so your RV should be self contained.

Meals are included with your registration fee. Snacks and beverages will be available in between meals for nominal charge.

It is the Participant's responsibility to bring enough feed for their own horse. Water will be available.
