44 yearlings traveled a long 500 mile trip in a 53 foot big rig horse trailer from Fish Creek, Nevada to Lifesavers in Lancaster. |

Many of these young horses are in very poor shape. Some are not too bad. They have been on a full feeding program since Lifesavers became involved in the rescue and they are all doing better now than they were. |

On a free feed diet of Bermuda grass hay and Barley, you can see they are quite content to hang out at the community feeders. |

All 44 youngsters will be monitered closely for any health problems. In a short time these guys will be available for adoption to approved homes. |

Most of these yearlings are bay in color, but a there are several buckskins, sorrels w/flaxen manes & tails, and even one solid paint with a bald face and blue eyes. There are about 10 colts and the rest are fillies. |
