Your generosity helps Lifesavers Wild Horse Rescue save horses and donkeys from slaughter, neglect, and uncertain futures. It provides the veterinary care, rehabilitation, training, and nourishment they need to recover. For those who can be adopted, it opens the door to loving new homes. For those who cannot, it means something equally extraordinary: a safe place to spend the rest of their lives.

Your Generosity in Action

In 2025, your support helped us:

  • Rescue 17 horses and miniature donkeys.

  • Find adoptive homes for 9 horses and donkeys.

  • Provide ongoing sanctuary care for horses who cannot be adopted.

  • Invest more than $350,000 in feed for our sanctuary horses alone.

A Promise That Lasts a Lifetime

Lifesavers currently cares for approximately 400 horses, including 300 living at our 1,400-acre Wild Horse Canyon sanctuary and another 100 at our training and adoption facility.

At Wild Horse Canyon, rescued horses live among their companions in a protected, natural environment. Many will spend the remainder of their lives with us, surrounded by the safety and care they deserve.

As horses age, their needs change. Some can no longer eat hay and require specially formulated pellets or cubes to receive adequate nutrition. As of October 2026, 57 horses at our sanctuary depend on this specialized feed.

Your generosity helps ensure that their changing needs continue to be met.
